If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tomorrow, who would be in your starting line up for the visit of West Ham? Does Cisse keep his place ahead of both Ameobi brothers? Does Vurnon Anita play in defence or midfield? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Simpson Williamson S. Taylor Santon

Cabaye Anita Gutierrez

Ben Arfa Ba Cisse

I’d go with a similar team to the one that played against West Brom, with the only change being Cisse in for Shola Ameobi. Cisse will come good and if both Ameobi’s hadn’t played in the week against Brugge, I’d pick either of them. Both will be tired though and better coming on as substitutes.

Anita is better in midfield than full back, as he showed when he smacked a beautiful volley against Brugge on Thursday. Simpson can only really play at right-back, so that’s a natural choice.

Ba and Ben Arfa pick themselves when fit and available!

What do you think? Do you agree? Leave a comment below and have your say!

I agree with your team, only change would be to play Sammy wide left instead of Cisse. I don’t think Cisse is effective in that position. If Simpson doesn’t make it I would bring in Ferguson at left back and switch Santon to right back.
