If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tomorrow afternoon when Norwich come to town, who would you pick for the game against the Canaries? Does Demba Ba start up front after his two goals against Everton? Does Rob Elliot continue in goal after his impressive display against Maritimo? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Perch Williamson S. Taylor Santon

Cabaye Tiote Gutierrez

Ben Arfa Ba Cisse

I would stick with Rob Elliot in goal after his performance against Maritimo in the week, as Steve Harper was poor against Everton last Monday. The veteran looked to be too slow to react to both goals and the younger Elliot could be a wise choice if he repeats his performance from Thursday.

I’d obviously go with Cheick Tiote in the middle of midfield if he is fit enough, or replace him with Vurnon Anita if the Dutchman is available. All that depends on whether Anita’s missus has had their baby or not and the Holland international is back from Amsterdam. If none is available, then it could be a chance for Dan Gosling, against the side he was sent off against last season.

Finally, I’d pick the strongest three attackers we have, with Cisse playing wide on the left rather than Ba, meaning the former West Ham man has the prime opportunity to score goals and add to his tally for the season. He is the in-form man at the minute, so starting with him is the logical choice.
