If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tomorrow, who would be in your Newcastle side to take on Hull City at the KC Stadium? Does Luuk De Jong partner Loic Remy up front? Who plays at left-back? Which formation is best? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Krul

Debuchy – Williamson – Coloccini – Dummett

Sissoko – Anita – Tiote – Gouffran

Remy – De Jong

I’d go with a 4-4-2, as it gives the best attacking threat with two strikers causing problems. Hull’s 3-5-2 formation is susceptible to pace out on the flanks, so Remy drifting out into the channels could be a source of success.

De Jong must start over Papiss Cisse, as he managed to affect the game more in 20 minutes than the Senegal striker did in 70 last week.

I’d like to see Sissoko play from central midfield but away from home, the extra steel of Anita and Tiote is the best option in the middle.

Dummett to continue at left-back, despite Massadio Haidara pushing for a place. The rest of the back four picks itself.
