If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tomorrow, who would you pick in your staring line-ups to take on Fulham at St James’ Park? Does Yohan Cabaye return? Who plays up front? Do any of the youngsters that impressed on Wednesday night start? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Krul

Debuchy Yanga-Mbiwa Coloccini Santon

Ben Arfa Sissoko Anita Sa.Ameobi

Cisse Sh.Ameobi

I’d go with the same back four that played against West Ham, despite looking weak at times. Limited options at the back kind of force Alan Pardew’s hand, so I’d be surprised if any changes are made in the defence.

Sammy Ameobi has looked good when coming on against West Ham and Morecambe, so I’d give him a chance to start and see if he can maintain a performance for 90 minutes. Sylvain Marveaux will be on the bench so there’s always cover if he doesn’t perform.

Shola has also been in good form lately and will take the physical pressure off Cisse by joining him in a 4-4-2, perhaps softening up Fulham’s defence for the final stages when Loic Remy can be introduced.

As for the whole Yohan Cabaye situation, I’d leave him as far away from the squad as posssible, as he clearly no longer wants to play for the club. Anita has looked good in his absence, so we should continue to persevere without the man who will be at another club in less than a week.

Loic Remy should get at least 20 minutes from the bench, as his pace could be key in the latter stages when Fulham’s physical defence is tiring.

    I would pick.

    Kurl Debuchy Good Coloccini Santon
    Ben Arfa -Sissoko-Cabaye-Obertan
    Cisse- Ameobi

I would include Cabaye to teach him a lession in front of the home crowd, and also the fact we pay his wages not Arsenal: play Obertan as I don't think hes been giving a real chance at Newcastle he also runs at people, and is very quick, and if Arfa gets tired bring on Sammy Ameobi to do the same on the other wing as Obertan and get the service to Cisse and Shola
    but will this happen NO.

    Krul

    Debuchy – Mbiwa – Coloccini – Santon

Sissoko – Tiote – Sammy Ameobi

    Ben Arfa

    Cisse – Goufran

Id play ben arfa just behind the 2 strikers as he will give that much needed creativity in the final third. Sammy ameobi to start in midfield as I thought he played well in midweek and I think he will cause the Fulham defence a few problems.

    Krul

    Debuchy Coloccini Yanga Mbiwa Dummett

    Santon Sissoko Anita Marveaux

    Cisse Ben Arfa

Due to the fact Tiotes pass selection is terrible lately, we cant afford for him to give the ball away, otherwise he would be in instead of Anita. Ben Arfa free roll is the key and Santon back where he belongs on the wing, Marveux needs more games to prove himself and Dummett looks the business. Obertan is an athlete with very little ability

due to Tiotes terrible pass selection, we cant afford to have him give the ball away, otherwise he would be in instead of Anita, Santon back in his proper position on he wing, Marveux will improve with games, but the key is to give a free roll to Ben Arfa

Pardew WILL play Shola because he will never field a full team of non-english players even if it means the team is weaker because of what he said when Wenger did it with Arsenal when Pardew was West Ham manager.

The only other option is Dummett at left back. But surely he would then play Santon over Debuchy at right back, Debuchy has been awful. But then he was singing Debuchys praises today not sure what games Pardew has been watching.

Team below would be the strongest team, but Pardew won't play it.
