Peter Lovenkrands - Newcastle United News

If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tomorrow afternoon, who would you pick in your starting XI to face Fulham at Craven Cottage? Does Best continue up front after his goal last week? Who replaces Cabaye if he’s not fit? Do we stick with Ben Arfa on the bench or put him on from the start? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Simpson – Coloccini – Williamson – Santon

R. Taylor – Cabaye – Guthrie – Gutierrez

Ben Arfa

I’d stick with a similar team to last week, with the only change seeing Ben Arfa come in for Shola Ameobi. Ben Arfa has been quality in the last few weeks from the bench and deserves a start, even if he won’t work quite as hard as Shola.

Ryan Taylor is a decent pick on the right, as his delivery and extra work rate will be helpful on the narrow pitch at Craven Cottage.

Do you agree? Leave a comment below and have your say!

    Simpson Coloccini Williamson Santon

    Obertan R Taylor Guthrie Gutierrez

    Best Ameobi

This is on the basis that cabaye is injured, Ben arfa not trusted – not many would pick this side, but it wouldn’t surprise me.
