If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tomorrow, who would be in your starting line-up to take on Crystal Palace? Who starts up front as Papiss Cisse and Luuk de Jong continue to misfire? Does Hatem Ben Arfa make a starting return to the squad?

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Yanga-Mbiwa – Williamson – Coloccini – Dummett

Sissoko – Tiote – Anita – Gouffran

Ben Arfa

de Jong

I’d stick with a 4-4-2 formation against what will be a stubborn Crystal Palace, with only one change from the team that were beaten at Fulham.

Ben Arfa has been out of favour of late but he is the type of player that could provide the breakthrough against Tony Pulis’ side, so I’d start him in a free role behind Luuk de Jong.

It’s a toss up between de Jong and Cisse up front as neither are scoring at the minute but I’d stick with de Jong as he has a more physical presence than Cisse.

The rest of the team stays the same, with injuries preventing any other changes.

    Santon instead of Mbiwa.
Need more going forward. Don't think Palace will come with any attacking intentions
