If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes on Sunday afternoon, who would you pick for the game against QPR at Loftus Road? Does Hatem Ben Arfa start or is he introduced from the bench? Does the back four stay the same after last week’s clean sheet? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Elliot

Simpson S.Taylor Coloccini Yanga-Mbiwa

Tiote

Cabaye Anita

Ben Arfa Gouffran

Cisse

I’d go with a similar side to the one that played at West Ham last weekend, with the back four remaining the same despite Mathieu Debuchy being available. I’d choose Danny Simpson over the Frenchman as he is more defensively sound and not likely to go foraging forward on the attack.

Cheick Tiote was effective last week and should continue in the anchor man role in midfield, with Cabaye and Anita making the play ahead of him in my team. Anita deserves more pitch time and a chance to prove himself in the absence of Moussa Sissoko.

Ben Arfa should start on the wing as we should look to start the match on the front foot, before replacing him in the second half as he fatigues. Jonas Gutierrez will be involved and is the most likely replacement.
