If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes on Sunday afternoon, who would you pick for the game against Man United? Which of the big hitters come back into the side after being rested in the Europa League? Who starts up front? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Simpson Perch Coloccini Santon

Cabaye Tiote Gutierrez

Ben Arfa Ba Cisse

I’d undoubtedly bring all the big hitters back in for the visit of Man U, as maximum strength is needed to de-rail their season even more and propel our lads into the higher reaches of the Premier League table. The front three of Ba, Cisse and Ben Arfa will be used for sure, as all three are now in form, after Cisse netted twice in his last three games.

The main change I’d make is James Perch in centre back ahead of Mike Williamson. Perch is quicker than Williamson and seeing as though Man U don’t have that much aerial power up front, the height of Williamson won’t necessarily be needed, so Perch could be a safer option, especially given Williamson’s love of shirt-pulling from set pieces.
