If you were in Alan Pardew’s shoes tonight, who would be in your Newcastle team to take on Spurs at White Hart Lane? Who plays at the back? Who leads the line up front? Leave a comment below and have your say!

Here’s what I’ve come up with:

Alnwick

Anita – S.Taylor – Coloccini – Haidara

Sissoko – Abeid – Colback

Cabella – Perez – Ameobi

I’d go with a 4-3-3 system and Remy Cabella would come back into the starting line-up on the right wing. He looked bright against Arsenal when he came on and it’s another chance to get him acclimatised with the pace of the English game.

At the back there’s a problem at right-back with Daryl Janmaat suspended, so Vurnon Anita would come into my team. He’s played right-back before but has been out of favour for a number of months, so Dummett at right-back may be a more realistic option.

Perez would lead the line with Cisse not fully fit and Mehdi Abeid would be the holding midfielder, providing he is fit enough to start.
