Should Gini Wijnaldum return to the team? If you were in Rafa Benitez’s shoes when Newcastle go to Anfield on Saturday, who would be in your starting XI? Is there any need for changes after a valuable draw with Manchester City? Should Gini Wijnaldum be restored to the starting lineup? Who gets the all important attacking midfield role? We want to hear from you, so leave a comment below and have your say! Here’s what I’ve come up with: Darlow Anita – Mbemba – Lascelles – Dummett Tiote – Colback Townsend – Sissoko – Wijnaldum Mitrovic I’d make one change to the side, with Gini Wijnaldum replacing Ayoze Perez on the left of midfield. Moussa Sissoko was excellent (probably his best performance of the season) against City in the number 10 role, so it makes sense to keep him there and give Wijnaldum a chance from the left wing. Andros Townsend is in excellent form on the right, so he stays in the team, and Colback and Tiote haven’t put a foot wrong protecting the back four. I’d opt for Mitrovic ahead of Cisse up front, with the physicality and tenacity of the Serbian set to serve us well against a rapidly improving Liverpool side, who could make plenty of changes ahead of their Europa League semi-final on Thursday.
