Newcastle United defender Remie Streete has joined League One side Port Vale on a one month loan.

The 19-year-old is yet to make a senior appearance for the Magpies but has been on the bench for Alan Pardew’s side a number of times.

Vale management watched Streete in action for Newcastle’s under-21 side last month as the centre-back scored two powerful headers against Arsenal.

The Valiants currently sit 22nd in League One after a poor start to the season and are currently managed by interim boss Rob Page after Micky Adams left the club earlier this season.
