Here’s our player ratings from Newcastle’s 3-0 win over Cardiff City this weekend, let us know what you think!

Tim Krul, 5 – Made a mess of a simple early cross and was lucky Fraizer Campbell didn’t score from the follow up. Otherwise didn’t have too much to do.

Mathieu Debuchy, 7 – Energetic and willing as usual from right-back. Unlucky with a header that was tipped onto the bar. Could have been his last game at St James’ Park.

Mike Williamson, 5 – Not too troubled until Kenwyne Jones entered the fray, then couldn’t handle the Trinidadian’s power.

Fabricio Coloccini, 8 – Unbelievable goal line clearance to deny Gunnarsson at 1-0.

Paul Dummett, 6 – Solid enough game from the young full-back.

Moussa Sissoko, 7 – One of the standout performers. Perfect cross for Ameobi’s header and looks settled on the right of midfield.

Cheick Tiote, 6 – Assured and neat in midfield as usual.

Vurnon Anita, 6 – Usual performance from the Dutchman, quiet and solid.

Yoan Gouffran, 5 – Ineffective again. Worrying form since Christmas and could see his place go to someone else next year.

Loic Remy, 8 – A cut above everyone else in black and white. Has a knack of knowing where to be inside the box and was involved in everything good about Newcastle.

Shola Ameobi, 7 – A nice way to round off his Magpies career, a goal at the Gallowgate end.

Poor ratings, yes Krul made one mistake but he made some great saves that game and kept us in it for some parts. 'Williamson couldn't handle Kenwyne Jones' power' surely thats a joke Kenwyne Jones is one of the worst most ineffective players I have ever seen. Remy overrated had an easy tap in and just right place at the right time that game but otherwise ineffective.
