Newcastle United Captain Fabricio Coloccini will miss the next three games with a calf injury sustained in the 2-0 win over West Brom. The 32-year-old was substituted late in the game with the knock which didn’t look too serious but scans have confirmed that the defender will miss Newcastle’s upcoming games against QPR, West Ham and Burnley. Newcastle will be hoping the Argentine can make a first-team return ready for the home clash with Chelsea on December 6. Alan Pardew’s defensive headache has already seen him recall Remie Streete from a loan spell at Port Vale. The Newcastle manager also has Steven Taylor, Mike Williamson and Paul Dummett at his disposal.
