Newcastle United will begin their Premier League season with a home game against Manchester City. It will be the second time in two seasons the Magpies have taken on Manuel Pellegrini’s side in the opening fixture, after last season’s 4-0 drubbing at the Etihad Stadium.

The first Derby fixture is at home on December 20, with the return fixture at Sunderland on April 4. Boxing Day sees Alan Pardew’s side take on Manchester United, while the final game of the season is at home to West Ham.
