Steven Taylor could be set to miss the first six weeks of the season through injury.

The defender suffered a shoulder injury in last Saturday’s pre-season win at Carlisle and the Sunday Sun are reporting that Taylor has indeed dislocated his shoulder.

Taylor was hoping for an injury-free campaign after missing the second half of last season with knee ligament damage.

  1. Scott Johnson says:

He's a great player but is injury prone. It is a reccurance of his dilocated shoulder he suffered a few years back.

  2. Pete says:

I have yet to hear whether this is the same shoulder (that he had an operation on last time, supposedly to give a "permanent cure"), or the same problem occurring on the other shoulder.

    Does anyone know?
