Newcastle United will be looking to move one step nearer to promotion when we face Bristol City on Saturday evening.
The Magpies will be wary that the Robins have just parted company with manager Gary Johnson and could face a team fighting for their future.

Totally agree with this. Fitz Hall could have been man-of-the-match against Scunthorpe. Our wingers make the pitch so big and thats why Lovenkrands has thrived. At the moment the first name on the team sheet would be Guthrie in the middle. If this team gets beat there will be no excuses.

Just give Best a game, he seems pretty damn low on confidence so maybe he could bag one. Plus I still don't rate Lovenkrands, he scores one goal in the game then he disappears for the rest of it. He should have had a hattrick in the first half but he just balls'd up every chance. Just my opinion.

Nolan playing in the hole, Løvenkrands on as a super sub, making it comfortable with his 0-4 (anyone got that one?) scoring.
Its hard to make changes to a winning side but i would like to see Kadar get more experience b4 the prem next season (c’mon, u know we r goin up!).

It's hard to displace the best left back in the championship but like StaffsToon I'd love to see a little insurance be groomed. Van Aanholt won't be available for one month loan spells next year.

I would give Best a start to try and give him a confidrnce boost !
Replace Best with Ranger in the second half.
Willdawg or Kenny seem to have the right idea. I wouldn't play Best or Ranger ahead of Nolan (a proven worker scorer) at the moment even if that means one up front. Lover Boy is out anyway with an ankle problem.

What planet are you on? Have you watched Gutherie when he plays in central midfield? Outstanding
At first I was amazed, but now I realise you are just a wind up merchant having a laugh. No one would pick Butt before Routledge or Guthrie and certainly not in the middle of a 3 man midfield.
what planet are you on have you actually watched newcastle this season never mind weather guthrie is playeing well every week the midfield should be
